High Speed Bracketing (Sony + Windows) is a little software, that  upgrades Sony Imaging Edge with a fokus bracketing function.

requirement:

  • camera: Sony A7 III, Sony A7R III
  • autofocus capable lens
  • Notebook, PC, Tablet with Windows OS
  • USB-Cable
  • Installierte Software: Sony Imaging Edge

Installation:

 

So it works:
 

  1. Connect Camera with an USB-cable to your PC/Notebook/Windows Tablet/Surface Pro (Attention: in camera-menu under Settings (4/7) must be USB connection / PC remote )
  2. Start Imaging Edge / Remote
  3. choose MF at the camera
  4. Important: control you lens, if there is a switch (e.g. as ring like on the FE 90mm/2,8 Macro), you have to put it to AF, otherwise the programm won't work!
  5. pull fokus short before the photo opportunity
  6. start Traumflieger software „High_speed_bracketing“
  7. use key combination „strg“ + „j“
  8. fill in the number of images you want to take in a row
  9. when the brackting is done you can end the program with strg + x
