The Traumflieger Macro Snapset comprises a Raynox DCR-250 lens with snapmount, a PLAN X 4x planachromatic microscope lens and an adapter to mount the microscope lens with the snapmount.

The Snapset is meant to make your telephoto- and telemacro lenses act as a magnifying lens. You can reach high reproduction scales rates but are also able to work with in-body focus bracketing, which is not possible with the most regular magnifying lenses, because these don’t have a focus motor.

Recommended aperture: use the PLAN X 4x always with the aperture wide open. Use the Raynox on a telephoto lens with aperture closed two steps more than you use it normally.
